3D Computer Aided Design (CAD)

We work with clients to provide CAD services as an extension of their business. Services include 3D modelling, package conversions or just simply creating 3D models from 2D paper designs.

Whether you want to visualise and present designs or import designs into CAM systems for manufacturing, we work to provide the best solutions for your business needs.

We can transfer designs from one CAD software package to another, including from CATIA V4 to CATIA V5. Other package conversions can be made to and from Pro/Engineer, UG NX, SolidEdge, Solidworks and AutoCAD.

With HVAC expert knowledge, we work within the petromechanical and shipbuilding industries to perform 3D network routings of pipe work for power plants.

2D Design & Detailing

Despite the advances in CAD software, 2D drawing remains a cost effective, simple method for conveying engineering information. REP recognise that many clients still require detailed drawings by delivering;

• 2D detailing
• Paper to electronic conversions
• Mitigation of 2D drawings to 3D models
• Basic mechanical designs

REP work with schematics, sections and single plan layouts. We have design engineers working on aerospace, automotive, ship building, HVAC, piping and petrochemical programs.
