Our mechanical engineering division provides engineering support to OEMs, prime contractors and first tier suppliers across aero structures and systems markets. We work with clients to deliver tailored bespoke services and have a pedigree within Aerospace & Aviation.

We provide Digital mock up (DMU) services including clash detection, zone control, data management and on-site support. With history providing DMU work on the A350, C-series and A400M, we have a wealth of experience and knowledge to provide OEMs with the support they require.

Computer aided design (CAD) and manufacture (CAM) can be delivered both on and offsite at the requirements of our customers

Since the beginning of 2011 our Mechanical Engineering division have been supporting a large aerostructure design and support services company with their DMU, data management and configuration control on the A320 programme.

As a result of our work, the following has been achieved:

  • DMU support has allowed them to keep up to speed with the rapidly developing designs and allowed immediate checks of the CAD data to take place, reducing the chance of producing any errors / clashes into the design
  • High quality DMU has fed directly into their PLM system, ensuring all data is as concurrent as possible
  • The chances of Clash Detection occuring has been eliminated
  • All CAD and DMU data falls in line with all quality procedures

Our Mechanical Engineering division have handled the whole process of ensuring that the correct data was available, with both our client and their customer acknowledging the role we have played ensuring that the project was delivered on time.
